AMENDMENT DESCRIPTION:
Amendment requires the GAO to study, within one year of enactment, the effectiveness of FAA oversight activities related to preventing or mitigating the effects of dense continuous smoke in the cockpit of commercial aircraft.

AMENDMENT PURPOSE:
An amendment numbered 9 printed in part C of House Report 111-126 to require the GAO to study, within one year of enactment, the effectiveness of FAA oversight activities related to preventing or mitigating the effects of dense continuous smoke in the cockpit of commercial aircraft.
