AMENDMENT PURPOSE:
An amendment to prohibit funds to be used to plan, design, study, or construct, for the purpose of harvesting timber by private entities or individuals, a forest development road i the Tongass National Forest.

    Mr. Young (AK) raised a point of order against the Andrews amendment (A035). Mr. Young of Alaska stated that the provisions of the amendment seek to impose new duties and constitute legislatiin an appropriations bill. Point of order overruled by the Chair.
