AMENDMENT DESCRIPTION:
Amendment sought to impose a 7-year time limit on participation in the section 8 program with exemptions for the elderly and disabled, and families in a hardship situation.

AMENDMENT PURPOSE:
An amendment numbered 3 printed in House Report 110-227 to impose a 7-year time limit on participation in the Section 8 program. The amendment excludes the elderly and disabled from this requirement. In addition, the amendment provides for a hardship exception.
